The Reidsville Parks & Recreation Department began accepting registration for its youth baseball and softball programs Feb. 1.

     The leagues are Minor League (ages 9-10), Major League (11-12), Coach-Pitch (7-8), T-ball (4-6), Pony League (13-14), and girls softball (8-11, 12-15).

     The age determination date for each league is May 1, meaning whatever a child’s age is on May 1 is his/her playing age for the season.

     The deadline for registration is March 9 for Minor and Major, March 31 for Coach-Pitch, April 9 for Pony, and April 16 for girls softball and T-Ball.

     Registration fees are $15 for city residents and $30 for non-city residents.

     A one-time only Saturday registration will be held Feb. 20 from 9 a.m. until 12 noon.

     To register stop by the Reidsville Parks & Recreation Department at 200 N. Franklin Street Monday-Friday between 9 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.
