Thursday (October 22)
Aheron’s Builders and Full Gospel won tournament championships in the Reidsville Parks & Recreation Department’s Fall Softball Leagues Thursday night at Jaycee Park.
Aheron knocked off Williams Garage to win the City League title and Full Gospel beat J.J. Young Guns/Booney’s Pizza 17-6 in the Open League final.
In other tournament games played Thursday, Sports Bar & Grill beat Hardnox 23-18, J.J. Young Guns drilled Sports Bar & Grill 20-5, and Williams Garage bested C.G. Heating & Air 28-8.

Hendrick beat Aheron Builders 18-17 and Mudd Doggs 25-24. Those two wins, coupled with a split of two games by Williams Garage, left Hendrick and Williams tied for the league lead with one game left.
Williams beat Mudd Doggs 20-5 and then lost to Aheron Builders 19-9.
In Open League tournament action, Full Gospel downed Auto Tech 15-4 and Hardnox won by forfeit over Jerry Shelton Appraisal.
