Thursday (October 22)

     Aheron’s Builders and Full Gospel won tournament championships in the Reidsville Parks & Recreation Department’s Fall Softball Leagues Thursday night at Jaycee Park.

     Aheron knocked off Williams Garage to win the City League title and Full Gospel beat J.J. Young Guns/Booney’s Pizza 17-6 in the Open League final.

     In other tournament games played Thursday, Sports Bar & Grill beat Hardnox 23-18, J.J. Young Guns drilled Sports Bar & Grill 20-5, and Williams Garage bested C.G. Heating & Air 28-8.

     Craig Pruitt had five hits for Aheron and Jason Pruitt, Zack Apple (2 HR) and Bray Kimrey (HR) had four apiece. Adding three hits each were Eric Dalton, Robin Moore, Justin Evans (2 HR), and Justin Pruitt while Craig Pruitt Jr. added two hits.

     Derreck Totten, Jason Noble (HR), and Willie Terry had four hits for Williams Garage, Kenny Mims, Brandon Poteat (2 HR), and Mo Hines had three each and Rico Stewart, Ron Coles, and Eric Capel had two apiece. Maine Blackwell also homered.

Wednesday (October 21)

     Pizza Hut and Three Way Siding won tournament championships in the Reidsville Parks & Recreation Departments Fall Softball Leagues Wednesday at Jaycee Park.

      Pizza Hut won the Women’s championship with a 10-1 win over Carolina Apothecary after winning the regular season title as well.

     Three Way defeated Eden Jewelry in the Recreation League tournament championship game.

Tuesday (October 19)

    Aheron’s Builders outscored C.G. Heating & Air 31-21 in a Reidsville Parks & Recreation Department City League tournament game Tuesday at Jaycee Park.

     In other City and Open tournament action, Williams Garage downed Mudd Doggs 25-6, Aheron’s edged Williams Garage 12-6, Hardnox beat Lively Stones 25-14, Sports Bar & Grill whipped NC DOT 25-7, and Full Gospel rallied past J.J. Young Guns 14-11.

     In Recreation League tournament play, GP Fabrications downed Piedmont Fabrications 23-8, Three Way Siding beat Eden Jewelry 18-8, and Eden Jewelry won by forfeit over Primo Water.

     In Women’s League play, Pizza Hut won by forfeit over Dalton’s Delites and Carolina Apothecary won by forfeit over GP Fabrications.

     The Mudd Doggs rallied for a 20-18 win over Hendrick Auto Mall in a Reidsville Parks & Recreation Department City League tournament softball game Tuesday at Jaycee Park.

     In other City League games, Aheron Builders drilled Mudd Doggs 16-2 and C.G. Heating & Air downed Hendrick Auto Mall 23-13.

     In Open League tournament games, Lively Stones beat Auto Tech 19-13, J.J. Young Guns/Booney’s Pizza downed Hardnox 11-1, and Full Gospel whipped Sports Bar & Grill 22-3.

     In the other Rec League games, Three Way Siding downed GP Fabrications 25-9 and GP Fabrications won by forfeit over Red River Grill.

     In Women’s League tournament action, Dalton’s Delites edged Carolina Apothecary 18-17 and Pizza Hut whipped GP Fabrications 26-4.

Tuesday's (October 6) Games

     Hendrick Auto Mall moved into a tie for first place in the Reidsville Parks & Recreation Department City Fall Softball League Tuesday night with two wins at Jaycee Park.

     Hendrick beat Aheron Builders 18-17 and Mudd Doggs 25-24. Those two wins, coupled with a split of two games by Williams Garage, left Hendrick and Williams tied for the league lead with one game left.

     Williams beat Mudd Doggs 20-5 and then lost to Aheron Builders 19-9.

     In Open League tournament action, Full Gospel downed Auto Tech 15-4 and Hardnox won by forfeit over Jerry Shelton Appraisal.

     Eden Jewelry wrapped up the regular season championship in the Reidsville Parks & Recreation Department’s Fall Recreation Softball League Monday with a 27-24 win over Three Way Siding at Jaycee Park.

     In other Recreation League games, Red River Grill won by forfeit over Piedmont Fabrications and Primo Water outlasted GP Fabrications 30-24.

     In Women’s League action, Pizza Hut whipped GP Fabrications 21-9 and Dalton’s Delites edged Carolina Apothecary 6-2.
