  City Manager
  Appointed by the City Council, City Manager Kelly Almond is the chief administrative officer of the City, implementing all policies, programs and ordinances as adopted by the Council. The City Manager is responsible for the administration of all personnel matters, including hiring and firing of department heads and employees, and directs and supervises the administration of all departments, offices and agencies of the city. The City Manager evaluates any concerns within the community and attempts to find solutions to those problems.

  City Clerk
  City Clerk Angela G. Stadler is responsible for keeping accurate minutes of all City Council meetings as well as recording all ordinances, resolutions, motions and votes made by the Council. The Clerk also advertises all public meetings and hearings and compiles and distributes the Council agendas, which are available one week prior to the Council’s regular meeting. The Clerk also serves as an information liaison for the public and the media and as the Webmaster for the City of Reidsville website, www.ci.reidsville.nc.us. She is also the City's ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) Coordinator. Stadler is assisted by Deputy City Clerk Cindy Farris, who also serves as staff liaison to the Human Relations Commission. The City Clerk's Office also oversees the Visitors Center, which is located in the lobby area of City Hall.

  City Attorney
  City Attorney William McLeod Jr. is an advisor on questions of law and procedure for the City Council and City Government. The Attorney attends all City Council meetings as required and represents the City and its officials in all legal matters. Among the City Attorney’s duties are the drafting of ordinances, resolutions, legal opinions and other legal documents.

Assistant City Manager

  Assistant City Manager Terri Stamey assists the City Manager and all departments in meeting human resource needs. Policy development and benefits program analysis are the responsibility of the Assistant Manager in addition to budget preparation, management of the liability insurance and special projects as assigned by the City Manager.

  Personnel
 

The Personnel Department consists of the Assistant City Manager and Personnel Officer Carolyn Nimmons.  This department assists the City Manager and all departments in meeting human resource needs of the City through such activities as recruitment, job classification, employee orientation, records-keeping, and administration of the substance screening, worker's compensation, benefits, and performance-based pay programs.
    The Personnel staff is responsible for keeping abreast of trends in personnel management and updates in federal, state and local employment law.
