Director of Human Resources Terri Stamey and Human Resources Analyst Michelle Smith oversee the City of Reidsville's Human Resources Division, located in City Hall at 230 W. Morehead Street.This division, under the supervision of Chris Phillips, Assistant City Manager of Administration, assists the City Manager and all departments of the City in meeting human resource needs, including recruitment, job classification, employee orientation, worker's compensation, benefits and performance-based pay programs, etc. Human Resources staff are also responsible for keeping up-to-date on trends in human resource managment and federal, state and local employment law.

In addition, the Director of Human Resources works on policy development and benefits program analysis in addition to management of the City's liability insurance. This position also undertakes other special projects as needed from the City Manager.
